Software Anti-Piracy Measures and Related Information
When you install Global Fraud Solutions' software, a non-identifiable Machine ID number, or "fingerprint", of your computer hardware is created and communicated to our secure registration server. This is a standard industry practice used by most software manufacturers. This fingerprint simply identifies the machine that the software has been installed on, does not contain any personally identifiable information or any other data about you, your PC, or programs that you might have installed, and it is used solely to prevent software piracy and unauthorized software installations.
How Way We Use Information
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not sell, transfer, or otherwise share this information with outside parties except only to the extent necessary to complete that order.
We use the information you provide about someone else when placing an order only to ship the product and to confirm delivery. We do not sell, transfer, or otherwise share this information with outside parties except only to the extent necessary to complete that order.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties, except if such disclosure is required for the purpose of completing an ESD order (Electronic Software Delivery). In this case, the email address is used solely for the purpose of confirming and completing the order.
We use information that you provide during the software registration process only for the purpose of identifying you as the registered owner of the software and to provide technical assistance when required. Your information is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with outside parties except for and only to the extent required to perform these tasks. Personal information that you provide in connection with software registration as a user of Global Fraud Solutions software is classified as Registration Information and is stored and protected on a secure, restricted access server.
You may register on our website if you would like to receive our newsletter as well as update information regarding Global Fraud Solutions' products and services. We do not sell, transfer, or otherwise share this information with outside parties except only to the extent necessary to fulfill a customer request. Global Fraud Solutions reserves the right to notify registered software users via e-mail, to the e-mail address of record, in regards to important technical issues relating to our software products.
We may collect and use non-personally identifying and aggregate information. We do so to better design our website, to track sources of new visitors who may visit our site by accessing a link from a third party website, and to compensate Affiliates who may have referred customers to our site. For example, we may identify that X number of individuals visited a certain area of our website. In the case of third party affiliates who may have linked to our website, we report only that a referred and non-identified visitor to our site made a purchase and provide the purchase amount to our Affiliate Program management company for the purpose of calculating a referral commission. No personally-identifiable customer information is ever shared or otherwise disclosed to our affiliates or our Affiliate Program management company.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. Global Fraud Solutions may provide your personal information if necessary when, in Global Fraud Solutions' good faith judgment, such disclosure is required to comply with laws or regulations of a governmental or regulatory body or in response to a valid subpoena, warrant, or order or to protect the rights of Global Fraud Solutions or other parties.
